Hello James, and welcome to PC. I've often pondered whether ADHD was hereditery or not, guess I need to do some research. My mother and I have a very similar situation, as I recently divulged to her that I have ADHD. She was in shock, mainly because everyone that sees us together says that we are so similar. We both had troubles in school, but skated through with good grades. We both have been fired from jobs we worked rather hard to get due to simple mistakes and issues with determination during repeditive tasks. The panic attacks were a huge sign for me to get tested, but I never did until recently.

My suggestion is to get tested, either you have it or you don't. Problems can seem so much easier once you know what you're dealing with and get the proper help .
