My very little understanding of dreams (from a couple of books) does discuss traumatic childhood events leading to recurring dreams. Seems to be the case here.

This is not so dissimilar to the thread above about apocalyptic dreams in which the individual read a great deal of information about the nuclear attacks on Japan.

Also, I'm not sure, but are you still worried about tornadoes and floods? If so, the fear will become more acute and you will be more likely to dream about them.
