unfortunately my Dad was the one who talked to the mechanic and didn't get certain ... well important infomation such as adivce on price... It did show up some issues that aren't too major but ad some small cost to the car so I'm figuring it out with the current owner... we shall see.

and the more I've been going through the situation, the better I feel ... it' just... I want the stress over =P
