Wow this is an old thread, LOL.

It wasn't so much the rash that made lamictal a no go. It was the swollen lymph nodes, fever, bruising, and petechiae (looks like rash but it's leaking capillaries). Your liver can be next to go in that sequence, and it can be fatal. This stuff is all peculiar to me though, its really rare. Lamictal works fine for most folks...
