More than likely there are still tension between you guys. It is difficult to stay friends with a ex-relationship bc it is hard to not cross the boundaries and keeping the personal feelings aside from a friendship. Obviously you guys haven't had enough time apart to move on from the relationship. I would say you need more time apart from one another. You need to remember that you guys broke up for a reason and as good of a friendship you may think you have with him... its still just not meant to be to have one another in each other lives.
