I've tried doing the whole job thing, but because of the location, time of year, and lack of car to get a job in another town, it turned out horrible. So why not go to college and better myself? Hopefully Tuesday, I'll be able to find out if I can go or not. I'm not too worried about acceptance though.

I was just curious if double majoring and having a minor would be a little extreme? I know of someone who's triple majored. I want to do Psychology (BA)
and Behavioral Science/Sociology Concentration (BA) with Sociology as a minor. Would the Sociology minor be kind of pointless with the Behavioral Science/Sociology Concentration major? I'm not sure...

What's your opinion?
In your first year it's usually not necessary to choose your program so I wouldn't go for such a big load. Take some courses you're interested in during first year and see how you can handle the load.

About the behavioral science and sociology, you'd probably get a good deal of overlap, which is quite nice to have. The issue is that you may need to do more sociology courses or more of other courses than you want to take. Also, with such a load, you're more likely to have class conflicts and be just so packed with an enormous workload.

So overall, the sociology minor may add additional sociology courses into the mix. I'd try just doing the first year courses and see how you handle under a normal courseload. When it comes time to choosing your programs, I'd try for a major or double major and see how that is for you.

Look in your course calender and see how much overlap between the majors and minor there is. If there is a lot of overlap with the minor then you may consider it because it wouldn't require a great deal of extra work.
