Blog it to the web and you'll have a permenant record of when you wrote it....before anyone else's eyes see it. Xanga.com is a good blog site. If you're a writer, you may enjoy Xanga for reasons other than just protecting your work.

PDF it too and send it to a few people so they have a permanent record of when they received it.
