Posting what immediately came to mind..

The movie is "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.
A comedy where they inadvertently "witness" a murder. Richard Pryor's character is blind and Gene Wilder's character is deaf...
(relevance: I am hearing impaired)
They complement one another, Richard Pryor being Gene Wilder's "ears" and Gene Wilder being Richard Pryor's "eyes".

So, during an interrogation, after being arrested as the murder suspects then discovering they were simply witnesses, the policeman is getting increasingly frustrated trying to talk to these two (and they are purposefully frustrating him). He keeps pacing around behind Gene Wilder and asking him questions at the same time. Gene Wilder doesn't even know he is speaking because he can't see him. Finally the policeman comes around and sits down next to Gene Wilder and, in exasperation, repeats the question he's been asking repeatedly: "Was there or wasn't there a woman present????!!!!!"

To which Gene Wilder responds, with a look of utter amazement on his face:
"You're kidding!!!!!! Fuzzy Wuzzy was a WOMAN??!!??!"

Old movie, and one of my all-time favorites. Two wonderful actors and characters that meant something to me personally.
