Kathie, I didn't have a lawyer the first time either. This is four years after the fact. I finally got fed up with giving in to his demands, and having to hear his pleas of "I'm so broke, I can't give you $20 to feed the kids during my visitation time while I go on my annual fishing trip." Can't buy his own kids a few t-shirts for summer, but can spend $100 or more building a loft bed for his g/f's son. I'm sick of him putting his kids' needs behind his desires. If I drop this case due to his pressuring me and putting a guilt trip on me, I'm going to be right back where I started. He'd always told me I never did finish anything I started. This time I'm not giving him that satisfaction.
