This truly deserves to be highlighted.
Looking over the course of my life, these interrelated things have most influenced my weight:
- Geographic Location - literally where I am in the world and nearness/remoteness from family; the farther from family the less I weigh.
- Vocational Situation - the more I earn the less I weigh.
- Pursuit of Passion - the greater the wholehearted engagement in things I'm doing - whether or not work/school-related - the less I weigh.
Right now I'm a mess.
So here's advice from someone who has no right to give advice: In the long run, your personal investment in finding and pursuing a passion will bring you far greater returns in all areas of your life than obsessing over weight.
All the best to you!
