I love to sign. I don't really remember a time that I couldn't. One of my aunts is deaf and she taught me. At her memorial I was honored that she picked me to do the service and what everyone said. I felt so privliged.

Even to this day I went downtown to this deaf thing (can't remember what it is) with my cousin and people had a hard time believing that I could hear all my life.

My son is 5 and he is almost as fluent as I am (he also knows spanish).

It is a good thing to know and you never know when it will come into play in your daily life. You are doing good keep practiceing and before you know it You know it. Any progress is good progress.
