I've been trying my luck at internet dating the past few months with not much luck. I'm just an average looking man with issues.
I have gotten alot of views of my profile from women and some
of them are very attractive. I don't bother to reply to them
because my confidence and self-esteem are low , which doesn't
help matters. I just feel as though it's a big waste of time and
effort to try and hook up with any of these women because
once they find out about my issues , I believe it's goodbye ,
nice knowing ya.
Did you ever notice the handsome men and beautiful women
are on the favorites lists in big numbers compared to the
average looking person or the ones who's pictures are dark.
What does that tell you ? Don't need a PHD for that one.
Should I throw in the towel , or continue to torture myself
with something that will probably never happen.

YOU CHOOSE .....

Guy #1 .... appears on 6 favorite lists

Guy #2... appears on 112 favorite lists
If their personalities were equal and they shared many of my same interests, I would still prefer to date #2 (the good looking guy) over guy #1 (aka.. Mr. Pudge).

I guess I'd just rather be seen with a Ferrari rather than a Ford station wagon, lol.

Yes, the Ferrari would have higher maintenance costs but if I am willing (and able) to afford it, why not?

Good luck to you with the online dating... I think the big thing is.. is to stay positive. If you act too sad and down about your life that will scare people off in a very big way.

After all.. what's that saying??

"Laugh and the world laughs with you.... Cry... and you cry alone."

???

With that in mind... I don't think I would tell too much about your problems until you really know for sure that you can trust them and that they truly care about you.

But early on in the relationship, I would just be quiet and play it cool and be upbeat about yourself and your life.

Fake it 'til you make it... that sort of thing.
