I told him that I was someone else from the time we met. Outside of PC I let my imagination go and the alt was one of the products. Which is why my T doesn't think I have DID since I have a lot of control over when I let them come to the surface. When things got too serious I told the guy and all my friends that I died. Of course I used another persona to do that. I didn't see it as lying at the time. I dunno. I just want my friend (the dead guy) back. I miss him.
