I haven't tried the tempurpedic, but I *think* mine is a doctor's choice. It's really nice, especially if you get the one with 3 layers of foam. The tempurpedic looks really nice too.

Hope you feel better soon A new mattress will probably make a world of difference. I know mine did when I hurt my back (twice) in softball a few years ago.
