I know it can be hard to meet new people. But even if you doubt yourself, what do you have to lose? If it doesn't work out (for whatever reason, maybe he likes the Yankees and you like the Red Sox) then you have spent an evening with this guy. But if it does work out then you can gain so much more. I do agree though, that the first jump can be the scariest. Take care and I hope all goes well.
