Forum name first:
Years ago a friend in another forum sent me this link. I didn't know anything about the Tarot at the time but I loved Joan Bunning's tour of it and started occasionally using the Fool as my identity at sites where I'd register. By the time I got here, there wasn't any question I was going to use it if it was available.

When I was picking my avatar I was still a newbie here so I couldn't upload my own and had to pick one of the stock ones. I almost went for the grumpy-persian-kitten one but since then I've noticed at least two other people using it. No one else seems to have wanted cat-with-bug-on-nose.

I've thought of using the Fool as my avatar too, but I'm kind of used to the cat and I think the Fool would feel kind of formal by comparison. I'd want to flip the Fool pic left to right if I used him, so he wouldn't be walking away from my posts.
