I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who responded to this thread. It's been 4 days and her bowel movements have been normal - so I think she just digested it and it came out. We had a super close call yesterday. My husband accidently dropped a couple high blood pressure medication. She instantly grabbed it and ran to the living room where I was. I didn't know yet that he dropped it, but I saw her spit something out, then pick it up again. I immediately ordered her to drop it (we've been working om that command) and THANK GOD she did drop it. I think she would have died if she swallowed that. I was so upset that he dropped it and that she picked it up.
My dog trainer said it's important to train your dog to never pick up things (food) from the ground - now I know why she said that! I'm going to start today, putting various food and problematic objects on the ground and practice the 'leave it' command. Thanks again everyone.
