I have problems like that also; I have extra keys for my truck, 3 sets. One day I go out and it is pouring rain, I mean raining hard. So I decide to leave my truck running because I will only be in this place for a minute or two, just had to drop off my phone bill. So I lock my tuck while it is running and go in and pay my bill. When I get back to my truck I don't have any keys. Yep, 1 set in the ignition 2 set on the seat of the truck. Standing in the rain felling like an idiot. It's funny now but then.
I don't lock my truck anymore.
