Well you did talk to her and called the police, and called child protective services, that is basically all you can do, you did your best, know you just have to keep hoping that she gets out of that relationship, and out of that apartment. All you can really do now, is be there for her when she gets upset, or when he abuses her and she comes to you, then you can tell her again that she could loose her baby, he can abuse the baby to when the baby got older, and also it can and probably will get worse, and lastly that she needs to get out of that relationship, it is not a healthy environment, but you did all you can do, and now is just to be there for her when she needs you, and hope that she makes the right choice by getting out of that relationship.
