hugs ((((((((((((((kris)))))))))))))))), your nightmares sound really scary. I can only suggest that when you have consciousness, confirm with yourself that you are safe in the here and now, like ground yourself. I would also suggest to avoid any scary images, television or expose, cause it may trigger more. If you are seeing a therapist to talk with them about it. Try some tea, or relaxing music before bed. I just hope that this goes away
