Have you been diagnosed bipolar? Are you concerned that you should see a doctor about your mood swings?

If they're causing you emotional and relational distress, you might want to seek help. There are a variety of treatments available as you may already know.

There are quizzes on the site if you're not sure if you have the symptoms of bipolar or not. From there you could go to a doctor with the printed results and at least have the conversation.

Most of the people on this forum for bipolar are on at very least a mood stabilizer. Meds aren't perfect, but they're better than the terrible lows and out of control highs. Just a thought. And if you've already seen doctor(s) and are on meds, perhaps an adjustment is called for. I'd make an appt or at least call your doc on the phone.
