How long did you both go to couples? I can believe the counselors advised you to leave the marriage... maybe if you try a licensed psychologist you can receive real help? (LOL I"m biased that way. )

That he isn't physically abusive is good. I hope neither of you are, nor emotionally abusive. That might mean it's not as big a problem as it appears... TC
