I agree with jerrymichele and Shangrala. I would move out. I know how it feels to be around someone like that. It's like they suck all of the air out of the room. Just because you dont like his ways and attitude, does'nt mean your ungrateful or that you don't love him. I'm sure most people would agree with you wanting to get out of there.
