hello all of the asylum crew - this is something we've lately been struggling with too. calista mentioned it's possible to have alters who are psychotic. i believe that too. sometimes medication will help. do you have a t you could talk about this?

and yeah, there is also a difference between schizophrenic voices (outside) and DID voices (inside). sometimes people with DID can seem like they're psychotic because of flashbacks, body memories and all that are interpreted as hallucinations if you're not working with a professional who understands these issues.

(by the way... denial can sometimes manifest in stuff like this - suddenly starting to wonder if you're psychotic)
