Nope. Never. Quite the contrary. In fact, last time I saw T I reminded her that a year ago, she proposed hypnosis to try to clear some of the questions about my early life; and that she had said at the time, "of course you'd have to have a relationship of trust with the hypnotist," and had laughed at the impossibility of that.

When I reminded her of this, she lauged again. I have a feeling she sees me being in T for some time to come.

D&F, this is just my $0.02, but maybe your T is a CBT or some other short term type of T, and you need someone else. Either that or maybe yr T jumped to conclusions before knowing you well enough to say such a thing. sorry
