Just because they share the same body does not mean that they are all the same person. The soul is MUCH more than just a body, the only purpose for the body is to make sure the soul lives on this world, and in some cases many souls live on this world. Do you expect me to look at the woman in my head as an "unreal" person when she has saved my life? When I can feel what she feels? A soul is what makes a person real, not a body. And as far as I am concerned "alters" are souls who all share a body and that is it! Each alter is a different and unique PERSON.

The body is useless without the soul yet the soul lives on beyond death! How can you say that they are not real when they have different minds, souls and everything else?
