Take a deep breath, Lost49, and let it out slowly. Talk to the doctor who prescribes your meds and let him/her know that you are having difficulties; your meds might need to be adjusted. If you lost your insurance, you may qualify for assistance through your local county hospital/clinic, and at a reduced fee depending on your income. Also, many pharmaceutical manufacturers have programs to help individuals without insurance get their medications (sometimes even free) through programs they administer. Talk to the doctor who prescribes your meds to see if you can get such assistance. Also, call your county hospital/clinic regarding your situation and find out what assistance they can offer. You need to worry about and care for yourself more than others right now; if you're not in good shape, you can't really be there for anyone else. Feed your soul - read poetry, listen to music, watch old movies, etc. - whatever it is that you enjoy (or used to enjoy) even though you may feel disinterested - doing something you used to enjoy even can reawaken memories within you of good feelings derived from such things. Take a walk in a pretty and soothing environment or engage in some other physical activity to pump some endorphines into your system (make you feel better). Depression can be a bully, but you don't have to "take it." Put it in its place - it is something you are dealing with, but it is NOT you -don't let it control you. Hope you feel better soon.
