I do the same thing! I have to drive half an hour to work every day, and in that time I crank up the radio and sing as loud as I can. It feels especially good at the END of the day, because I don't particularly like my job so I can vent a lot of frustrations -- singing, to me, is one step away from screaming, and it sure feels good!

I frequently make playlists on my mp3 player. Sometimes they're based on my mood, like sad songs or happy songs, or genre, like country or reggae, but a lot of the time what I do is put together lists of songs that I can just sing to. The ones I can belt it out to. The ones that give me a rush to sing. The ones that let me experiment with my voice, that go from quiet to loud and back again ... I find it really helps when I'm feeling low, when everything starts fading into the depression, listening to music and singing along as strongly as I can helps pull me back.

Bring on the wonder, we got it all wrong,
we pushed you down deep in our souls, so hang on.
Bring on the wonder, bring on the song,
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long.
