PS One good way (very effective) to help someone increase their English and reading skills is to provide "gobs" of materials on the subject they love the most. Even if it's comic books or magazines, if they read and read and read, their skills will automatically improve. If those items to read are on their favorite subject (sport, game whatever) they WILL keep looking and reading them.
