I too have a deficiency but luckily I have been able to build it back up enough that I only have to take my Vitamin D once a month. I was having to take prescription strength twice a week and get out in the sun for 15 min a day.
I recently had some blood work done that says my Vitamin D levels are coming back up so may be able to quit taking it.
My symptoms I was having that I asked to have my levels checked was I was having some severe bone aches to the point I just hurt all the time and now that I take the vitamin D they don't hurt as much now the only thing that hurts is my knees.
