Oh my...I know how hard it is on you. I was in a similar situation a couple years ago myself. One contract job was ending and I just had a newborn.....lady luck was on my side ....found another job - worked both for a couple weeks and am still with them.....I am sending her to you.

Look at the positive through all of this if you can.....you have specific skills that they need til next year. That gives you some time....in the meantime - network network network Call and email any and all clients, colleagues, former employers, friends, family. Tell them you want work So many times, as I am sure you know, is all from word of mouth.

What field are you in? I am in the IT field and if I can be of any help...please let me know. What is ironic is that my job is helping IT people find work in the IT field....now I am in Nova Scotia but I do have quite a few contacts. I also own my own business too and had a few clients on the west coast. Just let me know ok?

You will get through this....you have us cheering you on and I know things will work out.
