Ah, "potentially violent felons".......hhhhmmmm....
I been there babe.......took ages for the State to find me a Therapist who wanted to treat me......."psychopathic behavioural problems" was the term used for me. I had that T for 7 years and she was awesome......put up with a lot of crap.......so holding out for the right one, is a good thing....
Like I said, keep fighting till you get the right one.......think little of those small minded people who used that term......do not take it personally, okay?
Good luck with this new clinic and if you can get a good GP, they can be powerful advocates in getting you help......let us know how you go.....
