Hi there!.....and welcome
What makes you think you have BPD babe? What have you seen in yourself that makes you think this?
I know that we have this wonderful wealth of information now, but too much info can be a bad thing......In my opinion, the dx of BPD can only be overseen by a competent psychiatrist, and followed up with a good psychologist for long term cognitive treatment.....
BPD, I have found does not effect people by halves......it does not come and go, even though there are times of peace and times of torment, it remains an undercurrent and does not tend to " go away on its own".......
The undertaking of any psychological help is TERRIFYING......no-one wants to admit that they are not coping, or that there is something wrong that they cannot fix themselves.......we all have pride and a general will to survive......
Whether it is BPD or something else, if you are struggling big time, then help is your next step. How you tell your Mum, I don't know.......I am not sure of the dynamics of your relationship with her. Being 16, my best piece of advice is to get help to deal with whatever you are experiencing early, you will thank yourself in the future!
I probably have not told you what you want to hear babe.......and for this I apologise.......but it would be remiss for me to try and "diagnose you" or advise you to go this on your own......we are here to talk and support, no doubt, for many of us have great knowledge.......but long term, therapy is generally the best way....
Tell us what you are experiencing, how you are going to get around to asking for help, and we can provide some support along the way......
Take good care, sweet.......you are too important to not get help for how you are feeling.
In stillness,
Michah
