I think of it more as a merry-go-round balanced on a teeter totter. Sometimes it just plain old makes you sick. But it's not very merry most of the time...it is painful, and numbing, and nervous, and frightening, and sad, and goofy, and hysterical, and then crippling. But we make it through somehow. Often for other people.
