Seabirdanne is sooo right (((((FeelingSad))))). We experience these changes, these "little deaths" throughout our lives - losses that must be grieved just like any other loss. Allow yourself to go through the process and eventually you will be able to celebrate the time you had with your friend instead of just continuing to feel the pain of the loss.
