Hey, NF. Keep positive. Wanted to ask: do you have caller ID and an answering machine or voice mail? I thought I read that you have caller ID.
Here in Phoenix we get so many freakin' telemarketing calls that if the name comes up on the caller ID as someone I know or I recognize the number (which is only about 5% of the time) then I answer it. Otherwise, I let it go to voice mail. Most of the time, they don't even leave a message. If they do and I'm here, I listen to it. It's a pretty good screening mechanism. Once my T told me that it takes a lot of self-control to not automatically answer the phone when it rings. I said, no, not really, just practice. My husband is nearly deaf and my son (when he's here) won't answer it. So, I got tired of being the designated home secretary. Anyway, it works pretty well.
