it sucks when they don't call and they say that they would. pure and simple. (and not just t's...anyone...but especially t's).
i mean what if it is really something like a "semi-crisis"...not enough of a crisis to warrant calling the emergency # but enough to call? i've had that problem...i don't want to call the # and involve the t on call and start that chain where we have to talk to the on call who then has to reach t (even tho she has said its okay after leaving her a message with no response)..it just seems that should only be used for those serious "maybe i should go to the chez bin" type things.
what i do with people who don't call is kind of sneaky...i casually bring up in conversation that i think my phone must have been giving me problems because i expected all these calls the other day from people and no one ever returned my calls...how odd was that...and then i ask...you called right? were you able to get thru okay?
oh my bad...you forgot....you know they didn't call, they know they didn't call...let's see if they are honest or good fibbers.
kind of fun to see some folks squirm a little.
