You don't have to have one (though, I hate to tell you, that might even have something to do with how you came to have this problem in the first place). In emergencies it's "any port in a storm" and if it's really an abscess, it's an emergency. Call whomever you'd call if you had any other medical emergency, say a broken leg, and ask them to suggest some likely dentists. They probably already keep a list for just such occasions.
