It happened again! I have been having a fit trying to get new wrist splints. It's taken 4 months already. ...long story. Anyway I received another call but no message from the medical supply... I assumed they were in. So I went there, and the ones he had were too short. He began to argue with me, trying to prove to me by measuring wrongly that they were long enough. I explained I'd been wearing splints for 18years and they've never measured like that.. and I needed the longer ones. He went into a tirade, obviously having had a lot of trouble with a few suppliers. I began to lose it but turned away and took a breath and tried again... calmly!

Even though he had thrown things around... telling me he quit and can't help me, I began to ask him if he would be out any money because of all the shipping charges etc... anyway, to make another long story shorter, he began to calm down with my calmness and though I didn't get new wrist splints and my hands hurt greatly, at least I didn't react negatively. I don't like situations like that... but guess this is better than responding likewise.
