I'm ok just a bit of a shock. But my question that is on my mind is Do these dreams mean anything?

I take 10mg of Elavil (amitriptyline) to help me stay asleep once I fall asleep, and it, too, gives me vivid dreams. (I recently dreamt that I was walking down a seedy section of Hollywood Blvd. carrying a full-grown live alligator.) Dreams only have meaning if you put meaning into them. There are probably thousands of websites out there that have some basic dream symbology, and you can always check out C. G. Jung - he was big on the 'collective unconscious' & dream symbology. Another author, not really a psychologist, that wrote a lot about dreams is Joseph Campbell.
I personally think that drug-induced dreams are more like 'brain farts' - your mind regurgitates imagery & thoughts in a way to keep itself busy while your body restores itself.
