I can't give you advice. You need somebody to examine the wound.
Do you know what kind of cyst it was? If it was a sebaceous cyst and part of it is still there the cyst can regrow. A sebaceous cyst has sebum inside of it; that's kind of like a skin oil.
Did they give you instructions on wound care like use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol to clean the wound?
