Dear Marjan,I agree with the above. In our western culture, many of us are church-goers, God-fearing, religious, or however you might like to put it. Along with this, comes the fear of satan or the devil, which is preached in many churches and referenced in the Bible advocated in all Christian churches [that I know of]. This is just my experience, but I take a relatively simple approach to my own dream interpretation. Maybe it's because I have simple dreams! On the whole, however, my dreams either reflect things I fear or things I wish for. Dreaming about something you fear may be one way of the mind's attempting to work through that fear. I went to a "fire and brimstone" church for quite a while and had a lot of fears to work through after that. Still working through them, matter of fact. But I do this during my consistently-depressive waking hours. Dreams are generally wish-fulfilling and quite good. This is not necessarily good, as I have come to prefer my dreams to the real world!
