coachllama,it sounds like you may be working through some issues re the breakup and seeing your ex move on. In time, you should work through these dreams and get through it. In the meantime, try some working-through, hard fact-facing re the relationship and it's termination during your waking hours. This may reduce the dreams. In recent years, I had repeatedly been having good dream of reconciliation with my ex-husband, but the relationship was so many years ago, that it was actually rediculous. I could not google his phone #, but the internet advised me of his birthday, I called his brother to ask him to wish my ex a happy birthday, and I could tell by his surprise and incredulity just how rediculous my dreams of a happy reconciliation were. The dreams stopped after that. I don't know which is worse: waking up from a bad dream, to realize that it's not real but does reflect some aspect of reality; or waking up from a wish-fulfilling dream to realize it's not real and never will be!
