I have struggled with Anxiety disorder and Depression most of my life. I was tested at age 10 and told I was not ADD. After my 9 year old daughter was diagnosed, they tested me too. Low and behold! At 34, I am ADD.
I started medication the middle of last month. My psychiatrist advised me that my anxiety level may go down since I might be better able to stay on top of things. I have to say, while my dosage isn't quite right and can take time to get regulated, I have been much calmer!
Good luck!
