I haven't been in the gallery since the new server. We had a real problem (still do) with old posts and PMs having the OLD server's codes in them. I guess the gallery comments could be the same? Have you tried posting a new comment and see if it has codes showing too?  If so, then it isn't the old server that's causing the problem. 
(We get coding in the chat room from time to time too. Maybe the site is having issues altogether?)
