We have a great forum here
Sanctuary for spiritual support where there is much discussion on all things spiritual and of personal beliefs. I think it is in the general forums where the problem lies when people give support to others and invoke religious beliefs and ideology into the support which in a way is preying on someone who is at a low ebb. I was told that all problems and difficulties are solved by a belief in ''Him" (God), now my religious beliefs are nobodies business and I would never presume to try to save another member by my beliefs. Please dont apologise for anything you havent done. Support is all about empathising with the person in need of support it is NOT a platform to push the believes and dogmas onto a vulnerable person.
As you said you didnt instigate the conversation it was
suggested to you.
Take care of yourself
