Not being settled in my home yet, even after 2 years, I have an air mattress on the floor that I sleep on for my bed.....throw a blanket down on it & crash there with a pillow.

I have 6 american eskimo dogs....3 sleep with me upstairs & the other 3 that are in their puppy pens in the kitchen wish they slept with me & they would if they all got along, but they fight between themselves & I don't want to pay for a vet bill if I let them sort it out.

Last night, I was working on my laptop which is also next to me on my air mattress...decided to call it a night, crashed on my side of the mattress with Tawny snuggled up at my stomach, Leo at my feet, & Celia on top of the back pillow I have propped up next to the wall.

I had just fallen asleep when I was woken up with gentle little dog kisses on the end of my nose.....guess Tawny forgot to give me her good night kiss before we settled down & she felt the need to make sure she gave me her sweet little kiss. She is my most snuggle dog of all....most of the time, she curls up next to my back....realized what a wonderful heating pad she really does make.

Have to be careful with Celia as she does the flying leap thing even in the middle of the night when she wants to come onto the bed & can end up landing right on top of me.....Leo just bull dozes his way to where ever he wants to go but luckily, most of the time he lays on the floor right next to the mattress.

Just pray there are no thunderstorms in th middle of the night....they hear the thunder long before I ever do & then all of them are on top of me & I might as well forget about sleeping until the storm passes.

During the ice storm last January, I decided to put muzzles on them so they couldn't hurt each other & had 4 in my room to keep warm as we snuggled trying to keep from freezing in a house that was 36F.

Would't think of not having my babies in bed with me,
