I've been on abilify and have DID too. Never heard voices from the outside, but had what T's were saying was some "Bizarre thinking patterns" (this was pre-DID diagnosis) so they added the Abilify to my SNRI's.
I only took it for a couple months. The only difference I noticed in me was that it flattened me out and took away ALL my emotions, which I didn't like. It was creepy...I wasn't numb, I wasn't sad, I wasn't happy....I was emotionless. So I stopped taking and switched to Risperdal which helped a lot more than the Abilify.
Everyone handles the meds differently so I hope you have some good luck with this one!! It is often trial and error.
