I do suffer from DID and BiPolar 1 disorder, and i switched med after med after med. Personally i never had the voices, but did not reconize people as people FUN! not really because my doc prescribed me high dosages of risperdol, lithem, then seriquil. All of which just made me lay in my bed like a zombie. When abilify came out i started taking it and have been for a while. I have found is the only thing that helps with less side effects then most other atypical anti psychotics. The only warning i have to give is that you HAVE TO FIND THE RIGHT DOSE. Other wise it could be a mess, making you numb, or worsening some of the side effects it does have. But does work instantly and it does regulate my view of what is real, instead of all the silly things i thought were real. Hope this helps.
