Now I can see why you are feeling overwhelmed. First semester - college is a big change from high school. Can you go talk to the TA or the professor or is there a service on campus for academic help? I struggled quite a bit my first college chemistry class and I even failed a Trigonometry class. I got a C in my first political science class at a good liberal arts college. I kept working and did much better in my second chemistry class, I brought my GPA back up from that failure and got A's in the rest of my political science classes. Struggling doesn't mean failure. Struggling means that you have to find your way around the road blocks. There is a forum here in the General section, "School and Study Issues". Do you understand what is giving you trouble????
